But where is her head?
When I’m in Coney Island I always feel like I have travelled in time. Some of the things are exactly what I imagine them to have been 50 or so years ago. I’m not entertained by watching a handicapped person being shown off for the next freakshow or by paying a dollar to see the tiniest woman in the world, who turns out to be a liliputian. Neither do I want to shoot at live human targets.  But it’s not about judging things, I guess. I find it interesting - and yes, maybe a little entertaining – to observe the people that work there and the people that go there to have fun. And I wonder how serious people take these things. Do people really expect to see a live headless woman when they pay a dollar to see a live headless woman? Or is it the curiosity of people about how stupid it can get, that keeps this thing going?
Anyway, to me Coney Island is one of the most interesting places in New York and I love hanging out there and watch…
